Understanding Sprains, Strains, and Tendinitis

These soft tissue injuries often occur due to overstretching, improper mechanics, repetitive motions, or sudden overload. They can affect the ankles, knees, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and more. Pain may limit how you walk, lift, reach, or perform routine tasks.

Sprains

Involve ligament injuries, often causing swelling, instability, and sharp pain with movement. We help restore strength and joint control while reducing inflammation.

Strains

Affect muscles and tendons, leading to soreness, weakness, and mobility restrictions. Through manual techniques and progressive strengthening, we help tissues heal safely.

Tendinitis and Tendinopathy

Overuse leads to tendon irritation or degeneration. Our approach addresses inflammation, mechanics, strength deficits, and mobility limitations that contribute to ongoing pain.

This place is great! A not so hidden gem because it’s always so busy! I went in with shoulder pain specifically for dry needling and cupping. They do it all there. The employees and owner are amazingly nice and every visit is always fun. The best part though is the dogs! Samuel Adams and Paul Revere are the two King Charles that are always there and they will sit with you and help with your physical therapy. My shoulder doesn’t even hurt anymore but I keep going just to play with the dogs.

I’m so happy I stumbled upon this wonderful facility! I came for pelvic floor PT after giving birth to my daughter and developing hip and back pain. I remember feeling so comfortable as soon as I walked in for my first appointment, being greeted by the owner’s two therapy dogs and seeing that new mothers had their infants there in a stroller with them for PT. It definitely felt like a safe space. Everyone who works there is so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable, and I can’t say enough good things about my therapist, Dr. Caroline Samsonik. She built a great relationship with me while professionally and efficiently working through all of my issues. She helped problem solve and gave me creative solutions that ended up resolving my back pain immediately. I also appreciated how dedicated she was when she read up on new research to find relevant exercises for me. I’ll definitely be back next time I have a baby!
