Dr. Eliot Smalheiser

PT, DPT, FDN

Pelvic Floor Certified, Functional Dry Needling Certified

Eliot is passionate about empowering people to approach their health and healing holistically! Eliot graduated from Simmons College in 2014 (BS) and 2016 (DPT) before working in Outpatient Orthopedics clinics and home-based care services. In 2019, he felt a need to deepen his clinical practice and sat for the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification and past!

Over the years he has deepened his manual therapy skills with multiple modalities such as Thai massage, and John F. Barnes Myofascial Release therapy, and is eager to add organ mobilization and osteopathic skills eventually. To complement his manual therapy skills, he is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (Hatha and Yin focused), Reiki certified, and cupping and integrated dry needling.

In 2023 he was certified by Herman and Wallace Pelvic floor level 1 to diagnose, treat, and educate folx on their pelvic floor conditions. He has a passion for helping people understand that pain and dysfunction is not a normal part of aging, and would like to help you feel stronger, healthier, and more empowered. When he’s not in the clinic, he can be found dancing West Coast Swing all over the Boston area, cuddling his fur-daughter kitten in his home shared with his beloved partner, or out urban hiking.
